Is your story an enabler or a limitation?
Think of a time you went for a job interview, when you lead a team, when you found yourself in an alumni gethering – what story did you tell?
You are the story you tell yourself. Your biggest failures and problems can be — if you let them — your greatest drivers of growth, learning, and joy. Stories have the power to reach people's heart and inspire action if we do it the right way.
This is a hands-on workshop where you'll engage with people around you and be inspired by each other's stories of passion, perseverance and purpose. Starting with introduction of Hero’s Journey, you’ll reflect, connect, then flow into writing on your own.
- Identify the external and internal aspects of Hero’s Journey
- Understand how story connects people through experiential activities
- Identify and overcome fear in owning your story
- Craft your own story using the Hero’s Journey template
Why Hero's Journey?
Hero’s Journey is a storytelling template created by Joseph Campbell that distils the essence of all heroic tales across different cultures. We use Hero’s Journey as a tool to help you uncover and tell your story. If you can tell your story, you can write your story too!
Who should join?
Students, young professionals, leaders who wants to improve yourself and your storytelling skills to cultivate authentic communication.
